Please join us to celebrate the release of our 2004 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Silver Oak celebrates the release of its new wines twice a year with a festive Release Day at both our Oakville and Geyserville wineries. This event is a wonderful opportunity to taste our newest vintage and rare library wines while enjoying delicious food and reconnecting with old friends. We look forward to pouring a small amount of the 1999 Alexander Valley. A limited quantity will be available for sale. Guests also have the opportunity to buy large-format bottles and limited vertical Collector Editions.
Our Release Day celebration in Oakville will take place on a large gravel area under a tent, providing a front-row view of the consturction of our new winery. Winemaker Daniel Baron will be on hand to sign bottles and guests will enjoy wine friendly fare box lunches. Thomas Arvid will display a selection of his wine paintings and begin work on a new piece inspired by the 2004 vintage.
As in Oakville, guests visiting our Geyserville winery will enjoy wine friendly fare box lunches. We will open our North Cellar for guests to try our current release as well as a few library wines from large formats. Visitors will also have the opportunity to taste olive oils from Dry Creek Olive Company while a live band provides entertainment in the courtyard throughout the day.
$20 per tasting, which includes a complimentary Silver Oak glass. For details, please call us at 800.273.8809.
Release Day for our Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon takes place each year on the 1st Saturday in August. Release Day for our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon takes place each year on the 1st Saturday in February.
