What an exciting time at Silver Oak!

We are putting the finishing touches on our new Oakville winery, which will be completed on schedule and just in time for 2008 crush. Incorporating more than 35 years of our winemaking experience into a facility that’s both beautiful and efficient, the winery is the ideal home to make our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. This fall, we also look forward to opening our brand new hospitality center and sharing our delicious Cabernets.

“Whether you are a Release Day regular or planning your first trip, we look forward to welcoming you.” We’ll release our newest vintage, the 2004 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, at Release Day on August 2nd. Release Day is a wonderful tradition and an important part of our history. For decades, Silver Oak’s most loyal customers have gathered at our Geyserville and Oakville estates for these celebrations of wine, food and friends. Whether you are a Release Day regular or planning your first trip, we look forward to welcoming you.

In this issue of our newsletter, we unveil a new design that we hope you find informative and entertaining. In addition to winery news and tasting notes, you’ll now find articles designed to enhance your enjoyment of our wines. We highlight one of our library wines, suggest wine and food pairings, and share stories from readers about their favorite memories of enjoying Silver Oak. We hope you enjoy our new newsletter.
