Our new winery pays tribute to Silver Oak’s rich history by welcoming a bit of our past into the present and incorporating several architectural features from our old facility. One of the most striking is a series of four stained glass windows by Napa Valley artist Diane Brisebois Peterson, including two preserved from our original building and two new ones. Defined by its vibrant color and nature-inspired themes, Diane’s work is featured in dozens of private and public collections.

Diane’s two original windows were commissioned by our founders, Justin Meyer and Ray Duncan, and depict an autumn grape leaf and a cluster of summer Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. To complete the cycle of seasons, the Duncan family asked Diane to create two additional windows, capturing the beauty of wine country and their home state of Colorado. The winter window portrays a single dormant vine in front of snow-capped mountains. The spring
window, a mix of flowers including Napa Valley mustard, California poppies, lupine and Colorado columbine, captures the vibrant beauty of spring.
