Winemaker’s Tasting Notes

The 1972 Silver Oak North Coast Cabernet Sauvignon is our first wine. This wine displays brick red color with some browning. It has a nose of stewed red fruits, hazelnut, coffee, chocolate and a hint of jalapeño. This wine is light to medium bodied with good fruit. Although starting to show its age, it is still quite pleasurable. Enjoy now. Due to limited supply in our library this wine was last tasted June 2004. May need decanting due to light sediment.
