The 1977 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has a light ruby color with brick-red edges. It has a nose of cedar and chocolate. This medium body Cabernet has flavors of fruit and spice. This wine is starting to peak and would be best enjoyed now. Due to limited supply in our library this wine was last tasted June 2004. May need decanting due to light sediment and some bottle to bottle variation is apparent in this vintage.
