Winemaker’s Tasting Notes

The 1978 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has a medium ruby color with brick-red edges. It has a complex nose of hazelnut, black cherry, black plum and chocolate. This medium body Cabernet has a lively palate and a long finish of roasting meat and baking spices. Enjoy now through 2010. May need decanting due to light sediment.
