Energy Efficiency

Our solar photovoltaic (PV) system offsets 105% of annual energy usage for the entire facility.

All of the interior and exterior wood siding was sourced from salvaged lumber like old redwood tanks. This reduced the total project embodied carbon by 3%.

Our Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) treats 100% of the water from our cellar with natural biological activity, reducing potable water use by 37%.

All interior finishes went through rigorous lab testing to meet CDPH Standard v1.1-2010, which sets strict limits for emissions over the life of a product.

The large curtain wall on the end of the production facility is covered with a shade screen featuring a randomized pattern akin to branches or tree trunks.

In the heart of the winery, the stainless steel fermentation tanks reflect the warm glow of the continuous skylights.

To promote the use of stairs, the main staircase is a focal point of architectural beauty made from reclaimed oak barrels which came from the property.

The office is designed to maximize access to fresh air and quality views.
