2024 Sauvignon Blanc 750ml

Following the late 2023 season, 2024 began with abundant winter rains before temperatures quickly warmed, spurring strong early growth and setting the stage for a successful year. Warm conditions persisted, accelerating vine development and requiring precise, responsive farming. July brought three early heat waves, unusual for triple-digit temperatures, but well-hydrated vines handled the stress. This led to an early harvest to preserve freshness, beginning August 15th at our Twomey estate vineyard in Calistoga and concluding September 7th at Merino Vineyard. The compressed harvest window recalls the warm 2021 and 2022 seasons, yet with heat arriving earlier, this Sauvignon Blanc balances the concentration and texture of a warm vintage with bright acidity and fresh minerality.
