A Must-Attend Wine Country Tradition

Twice a year, we celebrate Release Day—the debut of our latest vintage—with you, our Silver Oak family. Our Alexander Valley Release Day event is always the first Saturday in August, and our Napa Valley release is always the first Saturday in February. With guests visiting from every corner of the country, we recommend joining our email list to be among the first to know when Release Day tickets are available.

A Silver Oak Tradition

It all began as an informal gathering of loyal and dedicated Silver Oak fans in the 1980s, eager to acquire large format bottles of the latest vintage and celebrate in style. Today, Silver Oak wine release events are a Wine Country cultural phenomenon, featuring local chefs and live music.

About Release Day

Release Day is a biannual event that aligns with the release of our new vintage of Napa Valley Cabernet (first Saturday in February) and Alexander Valley Cabernet (first Saturday in August).
