The 2020 Vintage at Soda Canyon Ranch

With steady hands, we’ve shepherded Soda Canyon Ranch for over two decades. More accurately, we’ve allowed the 113-acre estate vineyard to tell us what it needs. Today, we farm the site as six expressive micro-vineyards. Its fruit has not only formed the backbone of our Napa Valley Cabernet, but now also tells the story of Timeless Napa Valley.

Each vintage, the vineyard, cellar and winemaking teams perform an incredible dance. Mother Nature isn’t predictable, so their movement isn’t choreographed but relies on decades of collective experience to move through the tempo of the harvest season. Most days move fast like a quickstep, but there are still moments of repetition that are more like a waltz. In a vintage that demanded expediency and expertise, there’s no better ensemble to guarantee that the wine in bottle is excellent and will be for years to come.
