San Francisco Giants x Silver Oak

Step up to the plate, Giants fans! This spring, when the San Francisco Giants open their doors for the 2022 baseball season, guests will conveniently find their favorite Silver Oak and Twomey wines throughout all levels of Oracle Park. New this year, Silver Oak and Twomey are the presenting sponsor of Vintage ’58, a fan-favorite wine bar located on the promenade level at Oracle Park. The open-air space behind home plate features Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as Twomey Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc, both by the glass and by the bottle. Fans who purchase a full bottle of any Silver Oak or Twomey wine receive a collectible wine carafe and 2-cup set that features San Francisco Giants and Silver Oak logos.

As the official wine partner of the San Francisco Giants, Silver Oak and Twomey share a long history with the Bay Area’s storied franchise, tracing back to manager Bruce Bochy, who discovered his love of Silver Oak Cabernet through San Diego Padres manager Kevin Towers. Later in his career, during the team’s historic World Series run from 2010-2014, Bochy recalls, “Brian Sabean and I would sip Silver Oak after games when we won, and that sort of became our thing.”

Giants history buffs will also recall that 1958 was the year when the team relocated from New York to San Francisco. Our design team worked closely with the Giants to preserve the nostalgia and heritage of Vintage ’58, combining the heart of the Golden City with the beauty of California Wine Country. The new look wine bar is wrapped in lush, panoramic vineyard views and American oak paneling. Cocktail tables made from Silver Oak wine barrel heads provide fans a place to gather and enjoy a glass between innings. Vintage ’58 is the second Silver Oak-branded space in the ballpark, which also includes a suite level wine bar since 2017.
