A tribute to Silver Oak co-founder Ray Duncan, Timeless Napa Valley is a proprietary red blend from our Soda Canyon Ranch vineyard nestled in the southeastern hills of the Napa Valley. Decades of experience at this unique site allow winemaker Laura Oskwarek and team to highlight the individual merits of each block. Combining the strongest lots from each resulted in a refined and harmonious bottling. 

Equivalent to four 750ml bottles and presented in our classic wood box, this large format is a memorable choice for milestone celebrations, generous gifts and shared tables.

Once blended, the wine rested in French Oak barrels for 16 months. This time is marked by flavors of black pepper, cacao, cozy mulling spices and velvety tannins.

The first vintage of Timeless Napa Valley is a harmonious wine that deftly balances elegant integration of both high acid and supple fruit to create a wine with age-worthy structure and character.

About the Vintage

Winter rains and a warm, dry summer shaped the 2017 vintage at Soda Canyon Ranch. Precise, block-by-block harvest timing preserved freshness and balance, yielding notes of pomegranate and cherry with wisteria, licorice and mint—a vivid expression of this singular Napa Valley site.

About the Vineyard

Since 1999, Soda Canyon Ranch has formed the backbone of Silver Oak Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Over that time, through emerging technologies and the occasional stroke of luck, we now farm the land as six unique and expressive micro-vineyards. These become a veritable spice kit to winemaker Laura Oskwarek, who is challenged each vintage with making the most distinct red wine expression from these core components.
